The Center’s educational arm, founded in 1993 challenges visitors to confront bigotry and racism, and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts. The Museum has served over 7 million visitors with 350,000 visiting annually including 150,000 students. Over 3 million children and youth have participated in the Museum experience and its programs. Over 200,000 adults have been trained in the Museum’s customized, professional development programs which include Tools for Tolerance®, Teaching Steps to Tolerance, Task Force Against Hate, National Institute Against Hate Crimes, Tools for Tolerance for Teens and Bridging the Gap. “Anne”- the Museum’s newest exhibition has been called, “...the most extensive exploration of Anne Frank in any museum outside Amsterdam,” by The New York Times. Visitors to the Museum of Tolerance and Simon Wiesenthal Center have included 5 American Presidents, 6 Israeli Prime Ministers, Presidents from Germany to the Czech Republic, religious leaders including the Dalai Lama, and Nobel Laureates.

A multi-faceted educational institution and social laboratory in the heart of Jerusalem that speaks to the world and confronts today’s important issues – like global anti-Semitism, extremism, hate, human dignity, and responsibility, and promoting unity and respect among Jews and people of all faiths. A place that teaches that greater than any external threat is the internal divide that separates and reinforces the idea that Jewish unity is not a slogan, but an essential recipe for survival in the 21st century. The three-acre, 185,000 square foot facility will house two experiential museums, one for adults and one for children, a state-of-the-art International Conference Center, Grand Hall, Education Center offering training programs and seminars given by outstanding teachers, rabbis and experts, and a Theater for the Performing Arts hosting important films and concerts. The project has been praised by all of Israel’s leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former President Shimon Peres, and current president Reuven Rivlin. The Museum will celebrate the vibrancy of Israel’s democracy by promoting universal respect and co-existence and will deal with the vital issues of the 21st century.

The two-time Academy Award®-winning Moriah Films division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center has produced 16 documentaries on the epic events that have shaped modern Jewish history. Narrators for Moriah Films have included Elizabeth Taylor, Orson Welles, Sir Ben Kingsley, Michael Douglas, Dustin Hoffman, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Christoph Waltz, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Moriah newest feature, Never Stop Dreaming: The Life and Legacy of Shimon Peres, features interviews with Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Barbra Streisand. Currently in production is a biography on Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion. Millions of people have seen Moriah’s films in theaters, and on cable around the world. The Campus Outreach department forges strategic alliances with campus leaders, faculty, staff, and students to confront growing anti-Semitism on university campuses and to foster a new awareness of contemporary human rights, social justice and ethics among today’s college and university students. Campus Outreach’s tolerance training program focuses on combatting anti-Semitism, confronting hate speech, and promoting dialogue among the diverse students on campuses today.

Over the last year, the programs and services provided by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, including its Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles have impacted greatly on people the world over.

Moriah Films is the two-time Academy Award®-winning film division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center which has produced the most significant collection of documentaries on the epic events that have shaped modern Jewish history. Narrators for Moriah Films have included Elizabeth Taylor, Orson Welles, Sir Ben Kingsley, Michael Douglas, Dustin Hoffman, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Christoph Waltz, Anne Bancroft, Leonard Nimoy and Sandra Bullock. Its fourteenth documentary, The Prime Ministers: Soldiers and Peacemakers, a behind-the-scenes look at the epic moments of Israel¹s history and its relationship to U.S. Presidents, is premiering across the United States and Canada. Tens of millions of people have seen Moriah’s films in theaters, streaming through Netflix, and on cable and television around the world.

Since opening in 1993, the Museum has hosted over 5 million visitors. More than 2.5 million children and youth have participated in the Museum experience and its programs, and almost 200,000 adults have been trained in the Museum¹s customized professional development programs over the last 20 years. “Anne”- the Museum¹s newest exhibition has been called, “The most important exhibition about Anne Frank” by the Anne Frank Fonds in Basel, Switzerland and, “The most extensive exploration of Anne Frank in any museum outside Amsterdam,” by the New York Times.
 
The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem, currently under construction and scheduled open in 2021 has been praised by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as “very distinctive and elegant
- a beautiful fit for the city of Jerusalem,” the Museum will deal with the vital issues of the 21st century and celebrate the vibrancy of Israel¹s democracy.
 
Campus Outreach forges strategic alliances with campus leaders, faculty, staff and students to confront growing anti-Semitism on university campuses and to foster a new awareness of contemporary human rights, social justice and ethics in today¹s college and university students.  The new nationwide tolerance training program focuses on combatting anti-Semitism, confronting hate speech, and promoting dialogue among the diverse students on campuses today.
 
Digital Terrorism and Hate Project, produces an annual interactive report focusing on tens of thousands of websites detailing how the Internet has become a virtual university for terrorism and has emerged as the nerve center for training, recruitment, and terrorist activities around the world. Digital Terrorism is available in English, French and Spanish and has been distributed to government agencies, community activists, educators, and members of the media.

InMotion Magazine, the Simon Wiesenthal Center's publication which is sent to the Center's members as well as government officials, and members of the media. InMotion details the Center's vast social action agenda and its programs throughout the world.
