The Center’s educational arm, founded in 1993 challenges visitors to confront bigotry and racism, and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts. The Museum has served over 7 million visitors with 350,000 visiting annually including 150,000 students. Over 3 million children and youth have participated in the Museum experience and its programs. Over 200,000 adults have been trained in the Museum’s customized, professional development programs which include Tools for Tolerance®, Teaching Steps to Tolerance, Task Force Against Hate, National Institute Against Hate Crimes, Tools for Tolerance for Teens and Bridging the Gap. “Anne”- the Museum’s newest exhibition has been called, “...the most extensive exploration of Anne Frank in any museum outside Amsterdam,” by The New York Times. Visitors to the Museum of Tolerance and Simon Wiesenthal Center have included 5 American Presidents, 6 Israeli Prime Ministers, Presidents from Germany to the Czech Republic, religious leaders including the Dalai Lama, and Nobel Laureates.

A multi-faceted educational institution and social laboratory in the heart of Jerusalem that speaks to the world and confronts today’s important issues – like global anti-Semitism, extremism, hate, human dignity, and responsibility, and promoting unity and respect among Jews and people of all faiths. A place that teaches that greater than any external threat is the internal divide that separates and reinforces the idea that Jewish unity is not a slogan, but an essential recipe for survival in the 21st century. The three-acre, 185,000 square foot facility will house two experiential museums, one for adults and one for children, a state-of-the-art International Conference Center, Grand Hall, Education Center offering training programs and seminars given by outstanding teachers, rabbis and experts, and a Theater for the Performing Arts hosting important films and concerts. The project has been praised by all of Israel’s leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former President Shimon Peres, and current president Reuven Rivlin. The Museum will celebrate the vibrancy of Israel’s democracy by promoting universal respect and co-existence and will deal with the vital issues of the 21st century.

The two-time Academy Award®-winning Moriah Films division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center has produced 16 documentaries on the epic events that have shaped modern Jewish history. The Campus Outreach department forges strategic alliances with campus leaders, faculty, staff, and students to confront growing anti-Semitism on university campuses and to foster a new awareness of contemporary human rights, social justice and ethics among today’s college and university students. Campus Outreach’s tolerance training program focuses on combatting anti-Semitism, confronting hate speech, and promoting dialogue among the diverse students on campuses today.

The new nationwide tolerance training program focuses on combatting anti-Semitism, confronting hate speech, and promoting dialogue among the diverse students on campuses today.
Digital Terrorism and Hate Project, produces an annual interactive report focusing on tens of thousands of websites detailing how the Internet has become a virtual university for terrorism and has emerged as the nerve center for training, recruitment, and terrorist activities around the world. Digital Terrorism is available in English, French and Spanish and has been distributed to government agencies, community activists, educators, and members of the media.
InMotion Magazine, the Simon Wiesenthal Center's publication which is sent to the Center's members as well as government officials, and members of the media. InMotion details the Center's vast social action agenda and its programs throughout the world.
