SWC: UNICEF, NGOS, Must Demand Immediate Release of 30 Israeli Children Held Hostage by Hamas in Gaza

October 27, 2023

“They must break the ghoulish silence and try to save these innocents before it is too late”

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is imploring UNICEF, human rights NGOs and international advocates for children to release a public statement demanding the immediate release of 30 Israeli children [majority under the age of 16] kidnapped and held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

“SWC implores UNICEF to release a public statement demanding the immediate and unconditional release of the 30 Israeli children kidnapped and held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. The international organizations and NGOs – whose mandate is to protect children – were largely silent when the execution of 40 Israeli infants and the murder of entire Jewish families by Hamas terrorists were carried out on October 7th. They must break the ghoulish silence and try to save these innocents before it is too late,” stated Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action.
