SWC Demands that Elon Musk Immediately Cancel His Starlink Service Providing Internet to Gaza: “Dangerous for hostages and Israeli soldiers trying to free them”

October 28, 2023

The Simon Wiesenthal Center demands that Elon Musk immediately reverse his decision to allow SpaceX’s Starlink to operate in the Gaza Strip for the benefit of “internationally recognized aid organizations” following Musk’s post stating, “Starlink will support connectivity to internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza”. The IDF jammed signals with the aim of disrupting communication among Hamas operatives.

“What part of Nazi #HamasTerrorists don’t you get, @elonmusk? They still control everything inside Gaza. This is dangerous for hostages and Israeli soldiers trying to free them. Please cancel immediately,” demanded Rabbi Cooper, Simon Wiesenthal Center Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director.

Three weeks ago, prior to the Hamas massacre,  Rabbi Cooper dialogued with Musk and other Jewish leaders on the issue anti-Semitism and hate on his platform.
