Simon Wiesenthal Center to EU: It’s Not ‘The Settlements’- Two State Solution Will Only Viable When Largest Donor to PA Stops Financial and Moral Blank Checks and Helps Free Gazans from Genocidal Hamas

The Simon Wiesenthal Center criticized EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini (pictured) for denouncing Israel’s plans to build 3,000 Jewish homes on the West Bank as, “…posing a direct challenge to the prospects of a viable Two-State solution, which is increasingly difficult and risks becoming impossible.”

“When will the European Union finally acknowledge that it isn’t peaceful Jewish communities that threaten a Two-State solution, but the EU’s continue rewarding of Palestinian violent and hate-filled behavior with financial and diplomatic blank checks that cripple hopes for true peace,” declared Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, Dean and Founder and Associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish NGO.

“What is the EU doing in light of evidence that the PA tortures its imprisoned opponents? Where is EU action when the PA continues to hold up murderous terrorists of Jews as role models and heroes to Palestinian youngsters?

“As of now there is no possible Two-State Solution—only a three State Solution - with genocidal Hamas in firm control of Gaza,” they added.
“Only when the EU begins to demand transparency and accountability from the Palestinians and begins to work towards the removal of terrorist Hamas, will there be any hope for a viable Two-State Solution,” Wiesenthal Center officials concluded.
