CUPE Ontario, the political wing of Canada’s largest union in the province of Ontario unanimously voted-in Resolution #50 which calls Israel “an apartheid state,” which supports "the international campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions," and which calls for  "lobbying against the apartheid-like practices of the Israeli state and ...for the immediate dismantling of the wall."

In protest, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies has published this ad in Canada’s National Post newspaper to counter the outrageous and unfair attack against Israel which is part of a broader effort to demonize and delegitimize the Jewish State throughout the world.

Photo: Canada's Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies organized a gathering in front of the Ontario legislature  to call attention to Ontario's largest public sector union's (CUPE) intent to boycott Israeli products and declare Israel an apartheid state. Members of Parliament, community leaders, and Jewish activists attended.
