Wiesenthal Centre Outraged at Spanish TV Presentation of Teenage Nazi as “Little Girl Lost!”

PARIS - In a letter from  Wiesenthal Centre Director for International Relations, Shimon Samuels, to Spanish TV channel La Sexta,he had urged that the interview with Isabel Peralta - a 19-year old Nazi - be removed from its “Equipo de Investigación” programme entitled “Los Cachorros Ultras" (the Extremist Puppies).

 

The network then announced that its Presenter, Gloria Serra, for the first time in 11 years had lost her voice and that a substitute would take the interview.

 
The 45-minute programme focused on neo-Nazi groups in Spain, of which only 7 minutes for the Peralta interview from her German-based sanctuary. 

First, she was shown among the demonstrators outside the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid, protesting against the influx of Muslim migrants. She was then shown at the podium of the March 29 Palestine Land Day, in the background a “Viva la Intifada” banner, strangely in favour of Muslim Hamas.

 

“The actual interview showed Peralta as a ‘little girl lost!’ - a mix of shyness, hollowness and insincerity - where butter couldn’t melt in her mouth,” stated Samuels.

The interview received the following responses:

- Her parents... “against her and did not understand her.”

- Her attitude to Jews... “nonsense, my work is for youth.” [dismissing the question, that is already an issue with Spanish investigators, who have opened a case for “hate-crimes” against her...]

- Her work with youth... “the youth movement to help them.”

 

Intersticed in the conversation, were comments from Esteban Ibarra, President of the Movement Against Intolerance, who argued that, “if Peralta was in Spain, she would be in jail for incitement to violence.”

 

An irony, in the week before the controversial interview, the Holocaust Memorial in Oviedo, Spain, was defaced by vandals.

 

We then learned that the usual Presenter of “Equipo de Investigación,” Gloria Serra had not participated, due to being found positive to Covid-19.

 

“The Wiesenthal Centre wishes her a speedy recovery and hopes that the ‘little girl lost!’ teenage Nazi be revealed for what she is: a hatemonger inciting youth to vandalism and violence,” concluded Samuels.

El Centro Wiesenthal indignado por la representación en la televisión española de una adolescente nazi como una "pequeña niña perdida"

 

PARIS - En una carta del director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro Wiesenthal, Shimon Samuels, dirigida a la cadena de televisión española La Sexta, instó a que se retirara la entrevista a Isabel Peralta -una nazi de 19 años- de su programa "Equipo de Investigación" titulado "Los Cachorros Ultras".

 

La cadena anunció entonces que su presentadora, Gloria Serra, por primera vez en 11 años no presentaría el programa y que una sustituta se encargaría de la entrevista.

 

El programa, de 45 minutos de duración, se centró en los grupos neonazis en España, de los cuales sólo 7 minutos fueron para la entrevista a Peralta desde su santuario en Alemania. 

 

Primero se la mostró entre los manifestantes frente a la Embajada de Marruecos en Madrid, protestando contra la afluencia de inmigrantes musulmanes. Luego se la mostró en el podio del Día de la Tierra Palestina del 29 de marzo, con una pancarta de "Viva la Intifada" de fondo, extrañamente a favor del Hamás musulmán.

 

"La entrevista real mostraba a Peralta como una "niña perdida" - una mezcla de timidez, vacuidad y falta de sinceridad, con una apariencia de inocencia", declaró Samuels.

La entrevista obtuvo las siguientes respuestas:

- Sus padres... "en contra de ella y no la entendien".

- Su actitud hacia los judíos... "una tontería, mi trabajo es para los jóvenes". [descartando la pregunta, que ya es un problema para los investigadores españoles, que han abierto un caso por "delitos de odio" contra ella...]

- Su trabajo con los jóvenes... "el movimiento juvenil es para ayudarles".

 

En la conversación se entremezclaron los comentarios de Esteban Ibarra, presidente del Movimiento contra la Intolerancia, quien argumentó que, "si Peralta estuviera en España, estaría en la cárcel por incitación a la violencia".

 

Irónicamente, en la semana anterior a la publicación de la polémica entrevista, el Memorial del Holocausto en Oviedo fue desfigurado por vándalos.

 

También nos enteramos de que la presentadora habitual de "Equipo de Investigación", Gloria Serra, no había participado, por haber dado positivo a Covid-19.

 

"El Centro Wiesenthal le desea una pronta recuperación y espera que la adolescente nazi "¡perdida!" sea revelada como lo que es: una promotora del odio que incita a los jóvenes al vandalismo y la violencia", concluyó Samuels.
