The Simon Wiesenthal Centre has exposed previous Buenos Aires Al Quds Day expressions of Jew-hatred

This year, exhilarated by the Vienna nuclear agreement and the Argentine-Iran Memorandum of Understanding on the AMIA Jewish Centre bombing, local Iran-aligned groups, called “in the Name of God” for the “disappearance of the State of Israel” identified with “the devil”.

 

Al Quds (Jerusalem) Day was invented as a Ramadan campaign against the Jewish State by Ayatollah Khomeini - who led the 1979 Iranian Islamic revolution. His acolyte, Argentine-born leader of the Syrian Alawite pro-Iranian and pro-Hizbollah community, is Sheikh Mohsen Ali.

 

This Al Quds day, the Sheikh targeted as the enemy of humanity responsible for all the world's evils “the Zionist State of Israel”: "we want no more Israel.. there should be only a single state of Palestine”.

 

Dr. Shimon Samuels, Director for International Relations of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, argued that: "In calling for the disappearance of a sovereign state, Ali is violating Argentine interest in a Middle East peaceful resolution, speaking Tehran's language of genocidal intent and inciting to anti-Jewish violence...We urge the Argentine authorities to take appropriate legal measures”.

 

Dr. Ariel Gelblung, the Centre's Acting Representative for Latin America, added: "In the week that the Jewish people around the world fast, mourning the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and their exile from the Land of Israel, we will never again 'sit by the rivers of Babylon and weeping, remember Zion'".

El CENTRO SIMON WIESENTHAL EXPONE EL LLAMAMIENTO DE UN LIDER MUSULMAN A LA DESAPARICIÓN DEL ESTADO DE ISRAEL

 

 

Con anterioridad, el Centro Simón Wiesenthal para America Latina había puesto de relieve las manifestaciones de odio anti-judías vertidas durante una conmemoración del “Día de Al Quds”

 

Buenos Aires, 28 de julio de 2015

 

Este año, fortalecidos por el reciente Acuerdo Nuclear de Viena y el Memorándum de Entendimiento entre Argentina e Irán por el atentado al edificio de la AMIA (firmado en enero de 2013), grupos locales alineados con Irán, pidieron, “en nombre de Dios” la desaparición del Estado de Israel, al que equiparan con “el demonio”.

 

El “Día de Al Quds” (Jerusalem) es una iniciativa del Ayatollah Khomeini -quien lideró la Revolución Islámica Iraní en 1979- como una un elemento de campaña contra el Estado judío durante el Ramadán. Su acólito, el sheij Mohsen Alí, es el titular de la Casa para la Difusión del Islam y un defensor del régimen iraní y del grupo terrorista Hezbollah.

 

Este “Día Al Quds”, el Sheij Alí identificó como “enemigo de la humanidad y responsable de todos los males del mundo”  al “Estado sionista de Israel”: “No queremos más Israel", sentenció, y agregó que “debe existir un estado único que se llama Palestina”.

 

El Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro Simón Wiesenthal, Dr. Shimon Samuels, sostuvo que "con estos llamados a la desaparición de un estado soberano, Alí pretende incidir en los intereses argentinos en relación con una solución pacífica en Medio Oriente, reproduciendo el lenguaje de Teherán de incitación al genocidio y a la violencia anti-judía. Urgimos a las autoridades argentinas a que tomen las medidas apropiadas”.

 

El Dr. Ariel Gelblung, Representante Interino para América Latina del Centro, agregó: "en la semana en la que el pueblo judío en el mundo ayuna recordando la destrucción del antiguo templo de Jerusalem y el comienzo del exilio de la tierra de Israel, no podemos quedarnos sentados a orillas de los ríos de Babilonia lamentándonos y recordando a Sión”.
