“On the eve of the Passover holiday, where Jews around the world celebrate
the festival when the ancient Israelites broke the shackles of tyranny, the Jewish community of Kansas City was struck by a tyrant,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, Founder and Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
“While it may be telling that the suspected shooter yelled “Heil Hitler” as he was being arrested, we will await the final conclusions of the ongoing investigation,” Hier continued.
“The Simon Wiesenthal Center expresses profound sympathy to families of the three victims,” he concluded.
