The Simon Wiesenthal Center is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Professor Robert Wistrich.

“Robert Wistrich (pictured) was an international authority on anti-Semitism and a great friend of our institution who authored our exhibition, The 3,500 Year Old Relationship of the Jewish People to the Holy Land, which opened at UNESCO headquarters in Paris and then at the United Nations in New York,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “He was a great Zionist and a great Jew who will be sorely missed,” he concluded.
