US Secretary of State and Argentine Foreign Minister to Cooperate Against Hizbollah in Latin America

US Secretary of State, Tillerson and his Argentine counterpart, Jorge Faurie,agreed to work together on Hezbollah money laundering to finance terrorism accros Latin America, and beyond. This pledge was almost simultaneously justified by an Open Letter to the Alawite community from the imprisoned Yusuf Khalil, who is accused of serving as a go-between Argentine government officials and Iran for the adoption of the Memorandum of Understanding with Tehran. This was to grant impunity for the bombing against the Jewish Center AMIA in Buenos Aires in 1994, which left 85 dead and over 300 injured. In his letter, Khalil lament that as a Muslim brother, he can not adequately fight Zionism from jail. He also praises Shaykh Mohsen Ali, who asserts that the AMIA bombing was organized as a provocation by the jews themselves. He also thanks "the great Muhammad Abbas" for his personal concern. "The Simon Wiesenthal Center welcomes the Foreign Ministers agreement, following the bombing of the Israeli Embassy and the AMIA atrocity, both followed closely by the Center.
