SWC Mourns the Loss of Martin Landau 

The Simon Wiesenthal Center mourns the loss of acting great Martin Landau, who died in Los Angeles at 89. 

Landau narrated Moriah Films' Echoes That Remain and did character voices for Moriah's Academy Award-winning The Long Way Home.

We mourn the passing of a great friend of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and it's Moriah Films division," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, Simon Wiesenthal Center Founder and Dean. Landau narrated Moriah Films' Echoes That Remains, which tells the story of the rich heritage of Eastern European Jewry and shtetl life just before the Holocaust. "Listening to Landau's superb narration, anyone would know this meant so much more to him than an actor reading lines," he added. 

"Martin Landau was not only a consummate actor, he was a generous man and a sweet soul. We will always be grateful for his support and his artistry," said Richard Trank, Moriah Films Executive Producer and principal writer/director.
