SWC: Hamas has Reached New Level of Barbarity by Leveraging 10-month-old Israeli Infant and Family

November 28, 2023

The Simon Wiesenthal Center is appalled by the latest actions of Hamas with regards to 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, the youngest hostage kidnapped by the terrorist group,  who together with his parents and 4-year-old brother, has been handed over to a separate Palestinian terror group in the southern city of Khan Younis. The city is expected to be a target of Israel’s next offensive, raising the prospect that the infant and his family are being used for further leverage in talks to extend the truce.

“Barbarity on full display as Palestinian terrorists leverage a 10 month baby and family as hostage/human shields! UN Secretary General Guterres you have been silent until now. Take the global lead to demand this family be released immediately without conditions. Faith leaders including Imams speak up now!,” demanded Rabbi Abraham Cooper, SWC Associate Dean and Global Social Action Director.
