"The horrific attacks in Paris are just the latest barbaric proof that groups associated with Islamic extremism are determined to take the world back to the dark ages," charged Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper Founder and Dean and Associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish Human Rights organization. "These groups attacking soccer stadiums, concert halls and restaurants in Paris or knifing woman and children in streets of Jerusalem have one thing in common — they have declared war on the basic tenets of humanity and decency."
"The Simon Wiesenthal Center expresses its solidarity with the people of France led by their President Francois Hollande. Their struggle is our struggle. But if the world doesn't want to experience escalating carnage from Islamist terrorism, our governments must commit to destroying ISIS and religious leaders must denounce ISIS and their ilk in the Global Square of Public Opinion, especially on social networks and directly to their constituents in their houses of worship," Rabbis Hier and Cooper concluded.
