The Simon Wiesenthal Center is launching a petition urging bipartisan House Foreign Affairs Committee censure of Representative Omar and for Speaker to remove her from the Committee for her anti-Semitism.
Please sign the petition below to Chairman Eliot Engel(D-NY) and Ranking Minority Member Mike McCaul(R-TX) to have the full committee censure Congresswoman Omar for her anti-Semitism and to urge the Speaker to remove her from her the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The SWC is launching this petition after Omar used anti-Semitic imagery to slander Jews and supporters of Israel, a state she previously labeled as “evil”. No soon had Omar Tweeted an ‘apology’ for her latest outrage than she reTweeted a supporter’s repetition of the anti-Semitic trope.
“Frankly, Omar is unfit to sit in judgement of crucial Foreign Policy decisions that the US must grapple with on a daily basis including those that impact on the Middle East and terrorism,” said Rabbis Marvin Hier and Abraham Cooper, SWC Founder and Dean and Associate Dean and Director Global Social Action Agenda.
