RABBI HIER, FOUNDER AND DEAN OF THE SIMON WIESENTHAL CENTER LEADS CENTER DELEGATION TO OBAMA INAUGURATION


On the inauguration of President Barack Obama, Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center said today: "The swearing-in of Barak Obama as the 44thPresident of theUnited States is a defining moment for all Americans. Today,Americahas dealt a historic blow against prejudice by saying that the highest office in the land is open to all regardless of race creed and color.”

Rabbi Hier is leading the delegation to the Inauguration in WashingtonDCalong with Rabbis Abraham Cooper and Meyer May, associate dean and executive director of the WiesenthalCenter.
