New Venezuelan Vice-President is a Reported Champion of Iran and Hizbollah in Latin America

Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, has appointed a Provincial Governor, Tareq El-Aissami, as his new Vice-President.

Afraid of possible impeachment proceedings, Maduro hopes thereby to ensure continual power for the heirs of the late Hugo Chavez.

According to the Simon Wiesenthal Centre’s Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, “Vice-President Tareq El-Aissami, though presented as a Druze, is closely identified with Shiite Iran, the Hizbollah terrorist organization and Syrian President Bashar Al Assad’s family, whom he apparently hosted in Caracas… Aissami’s name has appeared as an intermediary between Iran and Argentina in the plan to camouflage Teheran’s complicity in the 1994 Buenos Aires AMIA Jewish Centre bombing, which killed 85 and maimed over 300… His new appointment assures Iran of continued access for terrorist mayhem across Latin Amercia.”

Dr. Ariel Gelblung, the Centre’s Representative for Latin America added “Not only implicated in drug trafficking and relations with the Colombian terrorist FARC movement, El-Aissami has inherited Chavez’ hatred to Israel and Jews and can now pursue Maduro’s antisemitism, further threatening Jewish lives in Venezuela… Indeed El-Aissami may transform antisemitism into state policy and further the transplantation of the Middle East conflict to South America.”

El nuevo vicepresidente venezolano es señalado como defensor del accionar de Irán y Hezbollah en Latinoamérica

El presidente venezolano, Nicolás Maduro, nombró al gobernador provincial Tareq El-Aissami, como su nuevo vicepresidente.

Previendo un posible proceso revocatorio, Maduro pretende así asegurar la continuidad del poder para los herederos del fallecido Hugo Chávez.

Según el Director de Relaciones Internacionales del Centro Simon Wiesenthal, Dr. Shimon Samuels, "el vicepresidente Tareq El-Aissami, aunque presentado como druso, está estrechamente identificado con el Irán chiíta, la organización terrorista Hezbollah y la familia del presidente sirio Bashar Al Assad, de quien al parecer fue anfitrión en Caracas ... El nombre de Aissami ha aparecido como uno de los intermediarios entre Irán y Argentina para llevar a cabo el plan para camuflar la complicidad de Teherán en el atentado de 1994 contra la Mutual Israelita AMIA en Buenos Aires, que mató a 85 y mutiló más de 300… Su reciente designación asegura a Irán la posibilidad de continuar accediendo a la violencia terrorista en toda América Latina ".
