Chaired by MP Michael McCann (Labour, East Kilbride) and opened by Dr. Shimon Samuels (Director for International Relations of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre), and addressed by Tom Wilson (Henry Jackson Society), Dr. Meir Litvak (Dayan Center, Tel Aviv University) and Dr. Matthias Kunzel (a member of the Garman Council on Foreign Relations and author of "Jihad and the Jews").
— Samuels presented anti-Semitic texts displayed last month at the Casablanca, Doha and Muscat International Book Fairs including Hamas publications
— Wilson launched a Policy Paper: "Hamas Today: An Assessment of Alliances and Capabilities"
— Kunzel spoke on "The Anti-Semitic Hate Speech of Hamas and its Origins""
— Litvak addressed "The Anti-Judaism of Hamas"
The debate was followed by a Parliamentary Motion tabled by Bob Blackman MP (Cons. Harrow East), "That this House believes that Hamas must not be permitted any involvement in the government or administration of a future Palestinian state..."
