Honoring the Memory of Simon Wiesenthal z"l

VIENNA 1998 - Rabbi Marvin Hier, SWC Founder & CEO and Simon Wiesenthal

Today marks the 16th anniversary of the passing of the legendary Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal who brought more than 1100 Nazi war criminals to justice. An architect by profession, Mr. Wiesenthal sought justice for his 89 family members, 6 million Jews and millions of non-Jews murdered by the Nazis.

Despite spending almost all of his time in the hunt for the killers, Mr. Wiesenthal loved the opportunity to make others laugh by sharing his latest joke. He took great pride in saying, "When my life is over and I meet up with the 6 million, I will be proud to say to them, I have never forgotten you."
