On behalf of its membership, staff and Board of Trustees, the Simon Wiesenthal Center congratulates Pope Leo XIV and the Catholic community on his election as the new Pontiff.  The Simon Wiesenthal Center has been honored by its close and warm relationships with every Pope since John Paul II and looks forward to continuing to grow this friendship with the new Pontiff.
