Commemorating Yom Yerushalayim/Jerusalem Day, Jerusalem Victoriously Reunified - Watch Now

In commemoration of Yom Yerushalayim - Jerusalem Day - today, the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Moriah Films proudly features a clip from its acclaimed documentary, The Prime Ministers: The Pioneers, when Jerusalem was victoriously reunified in June, 1967. This year marks 54 years since the Israeli army overcame Jordanian forces to capture the Old City of Jerusalem and reclaim the holiest site in Judaism, the Western Wall. Watch clip now

The sentiment of Yom Yerushalayim is often expressed by Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan, who said: “This morning, the Israel Defense Forces liberated Jerusalem. We have united Jerusalem, the divided capital of Israel.
