Later this week, US Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to attend the Paris Mideast ‘Peace conference.’ There are fears that the Paris conclave is just another excuse to bash Israel and perhaps even set the stage for
yet another anti-Israel resolution at the United Nations Security Council.
It may be business as usual for those living in a diplomatic bubble, but Israelis have to deal with everyday reality. Just days ago there was another horrific terror attack in Jerusalem, leaving four young Israelis dead and many others maimed and injured. This after UN Security Council passed resolution 2334 which identifies Israeli communities in Jerusalem and on the West Bank as
the impediment to peace, and which says, in effect, that the Western Wall and the Temple Mount stands on ‘stolen’ Palestinian land – with
no mention of Palestinian terrorism, Hamas’ terror tunnels, its genocidal hate, burgeoning arsenal of tens of thousands of rockets targeting the heartland of the Jewish state, or its anti-Semitic brainwashing of Palestinian children.

In 2016 alone, Israel was targeted by 20 UN General Assembly resolutions, while there were only four resolutions aimed at all other nations combined. This is not a prescription for peace, but for Israel’s demise.

join with the Wiesenthal Center in signing the enclosed Petition to the new UN Secretary-General, António Guterres urging him to instruct the UN’s agencies to stop demonizing the Jewish State and its people and to stop the travesty of UN agencies denying the foundations of Judaism and Jewish history.
We need your help to push back against the UN’s dangerous double-standard and to stand firm in support of Israel and the dignity of the Jewish people.
