In a letter to Woiciech Sawicki, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the Simon Wiesenthal Centre Director for International Relations Dr. Shimon Samuels, expressed great concern at the singling out of Israel by PACE current President, Liliane Maury Pasquier (pictured)  from Switzerland. A member of the Socialists, Democrats and Greens Group.
"We understand that her report, 'The treatment of Palestinian Minors in the Israeli Justice System' will be tabled at the forthcoming PACE session next week," stated Samuels, continuing, "It is pertinent to read Note 41 of her report: 'Others have criticized my report as one-sided'. Indeed, a powerful understatement."

The letter stressed, "Not one word, Secretary General on the Palestinian abuse of their children to render them as lethal a threat as brainwashed adult murderers," adding, "Our Centre monitors hate on the shelves of International Book Fairs. We award a 'worst offender' prize which, most recently has been won by Iran for its children's literature for 4 to 7 year olds, glamorizing child Jihadi suicide attacks. Where is Ms. Maury Pasquier on that issue?"
The Centre argued, "Her own country, Switzerland, has just changed its penal code to make 'homophobia as illegal as racism' carrying a prison sentence of 3 years for anti-Gay hatemongers." "Perhaps Ms. Pasquier could do more good at home following the homophobia example, by proposing international measures to jail Palestinian leaders and families who are prepared to sacrifice their children as instruments of hate and violence...These perpetrators are committing an even greater crime in breeding the next generation to perpetuate hate, over and above the will to build a state at peace with its neighbours."
"Mr. Secretary General, we urge you to shelve her report as a patent example of the 3D's of antisemitism, Double Standards, Demonization and Delegitimization of the Jews," concluded Samuels.
