Last week, at a White House briefing with a small group of Jewish leaders, including Rabbi Marvin Hier the Wiesenthal Center's dean and founder, U.S President George W. Bush spoke about prospects for peace in the Middle East and concerns over Iranian actions. The President then turned to the question of antisemitism, noting that he was deeply disturbed about continued antisemitism in Europe.
